Highly recommend the Thrum mittens & slippers. I gaurantee you will live in the slippers until they are worn out. My only complaint is I can't knit a Thrums in every colour. I have to choose. Darn!

While this yarn is rustic, it is quite soft without sharp guard hairs. I haven’t knit it up yet but it feels absolutely gorgeous. The colour is intense.

The skein of yarn is a generous amount and will go a long way. It will be perfect for me to knit up some mittens for the winter. Wool has a very natural and earthy look and feel to it which tells me it has had minimal amounts of processing which is wonderful for a sustainable material like sheep’s wool.

Cables pop beautifully with this Aran weight wool. It is so nice and thick and scrumptiously squishy. It knits up so quickly and the colour is very rich.

This yarn is beautiful to work with. I bought yarn from Topsy years ago for a sweater, and that sweater is the warmest thing I own. I bought the burgundy for my sister so she could experience the warmth and coziness of Topsy yarn in a sweater of her own :)
The colour is true to the pictures and boy, what a beautiful colour!
